Final floor finishes should not be installed until you are sure the floor is fully dry (see above). The following should be checked before the finishes are laid:
a) the underfloor heating turned on
b) a moisture reading taken on the floor to ensure the correct level has been achieved for the specific floor finish
c) if tiling, a primer, suitable for use with anhydrite screeds, should be painted over the floor before the adhesive is laid.
PVA PRIMERS SUCH AS POLYBOND OR UNIBOND ARE NOT SUITABLE PRIMERS FOR USE WITH UNDERFLOOR HEATING OR EASY SCREED.
