Lewis Dovetailed Sheeting offers a strong, light-weight floating floor option, which minimises noise transfer. For best soundproofing results, the sheets are laid over insulation strips which are placed directly on to the joist. A seperating strip of insulation is also installed around the perimeter of each room, before installation of the Lewis Sheets. Underfloor heating, if required is then laid on the top of the sheeting, if required and then covered by Easy Screed. In essence, you are creating a high-strength, low thickness, floating floor which minimises both airborne and impact noise transfer.
